Setup
Everything you can set lives on one screen inside the desk, and nothing is assumed. This is what each section does.
The Settings screen
Open the desk and click Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. Eight sections, top to bottom:
- Broker. Pick yours from the list, paste the keys it asks for, and click Save and connect. Check the connection tells you what the broker answered. For a broker with a daily login, today's token has its own box here. Below it, a home market choice for a reader with no broker.
- Data provider. Financial Modeling Prep today, or the name of a provider file your agent wrote. Check what it allows runs every endpoint against your plan and shows what answered. Data providers.
- Your AI. Fourteen presets, the request shape the endpoint speaks, the address, the key and the model. Test it sends one small request. Your AI.
- Connect your AI app. The address of the page any AI app on your computer can read, with a Copy button.
- How you invest. Your style, what you look at first, sectors, risk, holding period, and a few lines in your own words. The AI app reads this too, so it answers you and not a stranger.
- This desk. Where it runs, the Start with the computer switch, the Newer versions switch for updates without the click, and your e-mail for the SEC, which asks for one.
- Your files. Every file in your data folder with a plain description, a Download a backup button, and how to restore.
- If something is wrong. The first things to try, and where the log is. The full page.
Where it all goes
One settings file inside the desk folder, written by this screen. Nothing is sent anywhere. What it talks to.

- Your AI: the presets, models on your own computer, and the page your AI app reads.
- Data providers: what a key adds, and how another provider is one file.
- Data sources: every source behind the fourteen screens, keyless or not.
