Keys and menus
The few things on the desk that are not a screen: the palette, the Ask box, the small ⋯ that appears on a name, the Your list button, and the sidebar's own controls.
Keys

| ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) | The palette: type a symbol to open its ticker page, or a screen's name to go there; the startup guide comes back from here too. |
| ⌘I (Ctrl+I) | The Ask box on the current screen. |
| Enter in the Ask box | Sends the question with the screen's numbers to the AI you chose. Nothing is sent before that. |
| Esc | Closes the palette, the Ask box or a modal. |
The ⋯ on any name
Hover a name on any screen and a small ⋯ appears with the next thing to do from right there: open its ticker page, add it to a watchlist, a note on it, a task on it, put it on one of your chains, ask your AI about it. The way back from each lives where the action happened: a note opens on the name, a watchlist row has its cross, a chain has its Edit.
The Your list button
Funds, Capitol, Macro and Commodities carry it in the top bar, and the index options tape on Desk · Home has one on its panel. Add a row, edit one, remove one (Undo brings it back), or bring the shipped starters back. The three watchlists, Flow and Short take a name at the top instead, found as you type. Your lists.
The sidebar
- Hide a screen: hover it and click the cross; it moves to Hidden at the foot of the sidebar with a Show beside it. Desk · Home and Settings stay.
- Ask SuperAnalyst: the Ask box. The picker at the top of the box names who answers.
- Tell us: runs the check and sends a report, with the reply coming back to the same page.
- Theme: graphite, the dark one, or alpha, the light one; the choice is remembered in your browser.
- Collapse: narrows the sidebar to its icons.
The alerts bar
Along the bottom of every screen: the alert lines the rules in data/alerts.json fire, one per rule per day, commodity moves among them. Click it for the list.
