The sixteen screens

One line per screen, in the order the sidebar lists them. Every number on every screen names its source on the screen itself.

Desks

  • Desk · Home: your broker account in whatever market you trade. Holdings priced live, cash, and where the broker reports them, open futures and options, margin used and an options tape on the index. The results calendar for your home watchlist sits under it. Dark until a broker is connected.
  • The US panels of Desk · Home: under the broker book, for every reader wherever the home market is, because a reader in any market holds and watches US names. A hand-kept book of US positions priced live, the earnings countdown, the insider tape from Form 4 filings with cluster buys, and a market pulse. Needs no broker.
  • Desk · Book: a portfolio you keep by hand, any listing in any market, priced from Yahoo's free feed. Type a company's name and pick the listing you hold; the desk knows the symbol. For anyone with no broker to connect, and for a book that spans markets. It arrives with a few example lines so the screen is not empty, and Clear the book removes them in one click.
  • Risk: beta, volatility, worst drawdown and correlation for every book against its index (the index is yours to choose), leverage at underlying notional, the margin cushion where the broker reports one, a five percent stress line, and sector concentration.

Watchlists

  • Watch · Home: a grid of names in your home market, quoted through the broker when it serves quotes (with the order book and live ticks in market hours) and through Yahoo otherwise. Add a name by typing it; the search confirms it before it is added.
  • Watch · US: the same for US tickers, live from Yahoo in market hours, with the fifty and two hundred day distance and market cap columns when a feed key is set.
  • Global: any symbol from any exchange, grouped into indices, stocks, currencies, commodities and crypto.

Intelligence

  • Funds: the 13F tracker straight from SEC EDGAR for the funds you follow (yours to add to and edit): top holdings, quarter-over-quarter changes, the share of each company owned, plus the 13D and 13G activist feed.
  • Flow: the options tape on every US name from CBOE's free delayed chains: put/call, open-interest walls, expected move, unusual strikes, day-over-day builds.
  • Short: FINRA short interest and the daily short-volume ratio.
  • Capitol: Senate and House trading disclosures on your names, plus the members you track.
  • Calendar: every dated event on every name you hold or watch, from the free record and reread by the desk on its own: results dates (the company's own once announced, an estimate until then), ex-dividend and payment dates, the filings that landed at the SEC on your US names with a link to each, the home market's results calendar, and the macro prints ahead when a provider is connected. A results date lands on Tasks by itself.

Market

  • Macro: twenty-two FRED series in groups, the home market's own cards (for India: the ten-year, the repo rate and CPI), and an economic calendar for the US and the home market.
  • Commodities: fifty-four commodities, the industries each move squeezes and helps, the listed names mapped to them from their own filings, priced live, and a names-under-pressure panel.
  • Chain: your own value-chain maps, priced live. Describe an industry, a product or a company and your AI drafts the first map, upstream to downstream; you keep, change or drop every line. Chains live in your research vault. Chains.

And one more

  • Any ticker: Command and K, type a symbol. Chart, valuation, quality, estimates, insiders, dividends, news, and with a feed key six years of statements, ratios, segments, peers and a DCF sandbox. A home-market name opens with the exchange's filings where the market has them.

Settings, the last entry in the sidebar, is three short tabs: Connect (your broker, your data provider, your AI), Your desk (screens, where the vault lives, how you invest, the journal, backups) and Plugins. Nothing on it is required.

Two things on every screen

  • Your list. Every list a screen runs on is yours. Funds, Capitol, Macro and Commodities carry a Your list button in the top bar, and the options tape on Desk · Home has one on its panel: add a row, edit one, remove one (Undo brings it back), or bring the shipped starters back. Your lists.
  • The ⋯ on any name. Hover a name anywhere and a small ⋯ appears with the next thing to do from right there: open it, add it to a watchlist, a note on it, a task on it, put it on one of your chains, ask your AI about it.

The first opens

A startup guide sits bottom right: five steps with a tick each, starting with where your research lives (beside the desk, in Documents › GreekSoup, or in a folder a drive you already use syncs, chosen right there). Done hides it; Settings, under This desk, and the ⌘K palette bring it back.

Hiding a screen

Every screen except Desk · Home and Settings can be hidden: hover it in the sidebar and click the cross, or use the Screens panel in Settings, which also brings one back. Screens you have not touched follow your home market. The choice is kept in your own settings file and survives every update.

Research

  • Notes: your research vault as one screen. On the left, the index: what is due (Tasks), what the desk saw (the Journal), and every name, project and subject with a count; a name's line opens its timeline, everything about it by period, twelve months back and more. On the right, every note as a table with four filters, or the note you opened, or the editor with its live blocks. Search reads the notes and inside the files you brought in. How notes connect.
