Your broker, your AI, your data.

No. GreekSoup is open source under the MIT licence. You bring your own keys, and without any key at all fifteen of the sixteen screens run on the free public record; the sixteenth, Desk · Home, is your broker account, and Desk · Book stands beside it for anyone without one.

No. This copy reads your broker account and places no orders. If you extend it to trade, that is your own build, under your broker's and your regulator's rules.

Sixteen so far, each an account of its own on Desk · Home: Alpaca, Charles Schwab, Robinhood, tastytrade and Tradier in the United States; Angel One, Dhan, Groww, ICICI Direct, Upstox and Zerodha in India; Questrade in Canada, Trading 212 in the United Kingdom and Europe, Saxo Bank in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, Longbridge in Hong Kong and Singapore, and Interactive Brokers worldwide. Most of them also price your watchlist and ticker pages live, and Robinhood and Alpaca bring your crypto into a block of its own. Any other broker that lets a program read your account is one file an AI agent writes to the written contract inside the folder.

In a file inside the GreekSoup folder on your own computer, and a broker that issues a session key keeps it in a second file beside it. The Settings screen takes each key and keeps it there; the update never touches them, the backup never carries them, and the page your AI reads tells it not to read them. What the desk talks to is one short list.

Any. An app you already pay for on this computer answers with no key at all: Claude Code on your Claude subscription, Codex on your ChatGPT subscription, Gemini CLI on your Google account, and Kimi Code, Grok Build, Qwen Code and Cursor on theirs. When more than one is on the computer you pick the one to ask, question by question. Ten labs and OpenRouter are preset for a key, Ollama and LM Studio run a model on your own computer, and any other endpoint takes its address. Any AI agent on your computer can also read the desk through a page made for it. Each one answers about your book and not about a stranger's.

No. The desk never sees your login: it runs the maker's own app on your computer, hands it a question and reads the answer. That is the app being used as the app, under your own sign-in. How the usage counts against your plan is the maker's call and is on the maker's own pages; if a maker changes its rules, switch the Ask box to a key or a local model and nothing else changes. Your AI has the detail.

When you ask, yes. The Ask box sends your question with the numbers on the screen you are on, and on Desk · Home those are your holdings; on a ticker page it also carries the notes, files and chart pictures you kept on that name. It goes to the one place you chose and nowhere else; a model running on your computer keeps it there. Nothing is sent until you press Enter.

No. Every request must name your computer as its host and, from a browser, must come from the desk's own pages; anything else is refused before it is read. Security explains both guards.

No, the other way round. The desk's safety rests on nothing else being able to reach it, which holds on a laptop and turns around on a machine with a front door on the internet. Your computer or a server.

Every list is yours. Funds, Capitol, Macro, Commodities and the options tape carry a Your list button: add, edit, remove with Undo, bring the starters back. The three watchlists, Flow and Short take a name at the top, found as you type. The Calendar follows the names you hold and watch. Chain is yours to draft and build, in any country.

Yes. Every ticker page carries the desk's own chart, drawn from the free record with chart types, indicators, drawings kept as a plain file and a drawdown view, and TradingView's embedded chart at a click, with their data and their tools; the choice is remembered. Where their embed does not carry a listing, or their data does not reach your browser, the desk's chart stands in and the page says so.

Only where the broker asks for it. ICICI Direct, Upstox and Zerodha issue a session for the day, so Settings keeps a box under their keys, opens the broker's login and takes the key from the page it comes back to. Saxo Bank and Questrade renew themselves while the desk runs, Charles Schwab's sign-in lasts a week, and Robinhood renews itself after the first sign-in. The rest connect on their keys alone. Until a login, Desk · Home shows the last saved book with live marks.

Your home market is your own choice on Settings, any country, and a broker sets it for you when you have not chosen. India and the United States carry the full public record (the results calendar, the filings, the market's own macro cards); every other country has its quotes, session and index from the free feed. Global takes any symbol from any exchange, and a reader with no broker names a home market in Settings.

Mac, Windows and Linux. It needs Python 3.10 or newer, which the one-line install finds or installs for you, and a browser. The desk opens at an address only your own computer can reach.

Yes. Tell us in the sidebar runs the desk's own check and shows you the report line by line, with nothing private in it. It goes only when you press Send, as a public issue on the repository, and the reply comes back into the desk.

Nothing is lost. Your keys, your lists, your research vault and any file your agent changed stay as they are, and when a version changes the shape of a file you own the desk keeps a copy first and says so. The last three versions are kept, and one line goes back to any of them.

Open the folder in an AI agent, Claude Code, Codex, Kimi Code, Grok Build or whichever you use, and describe what you want. That is how the desk was built, and the README inside the folder is written for the agent as much as for you. From inside the desk, the Ask box in Build mode does the same: a broker file written from its documentation, a chain drafted from a line, and a button beside any broker error that hands it to your AI.
